Free Voice Lessons Announced

The Harrisonburg Harmonizers are pleased to announce the official launch of the Fall Ready Set Sing program, a free community service.   During this six week no cost, no obligation program, men of all ages are invited to improve their singing or learn to sing with the assistance of professional music educator John McCarty.

“We are men who love to sing, and spread joy through song, so what better way to achieve those goals than to help other men do the same,” says chapter president Scott Price.   “We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring men together in harmony and fellowship to enrich lives through music.   One of our foundational principles is to continue to contribute to the arts in our community through song and support of music education and performance.”

Many other chapters of the Barbershop Harmony Society throughout the country have used a similar program to do just that.

The lessons begin Monday, October 30th 2017 and continue for six weeks before culminating in a graduation concert, free to the public, on December 10th 2017 at Bridgewater University.
